Procurement codes for everything we supply

Every line we sell carries a UNSPSC code, the classification Coupa, Ariba and most corporate procurement systems use. Each code below has its own page: what it covers, the codes it gets confused with, the CPV equivalent for UK public tenders, and the products you can order under it.

UNSPSC, CPV: which one do you need?

UNSPSC is the global product classification used by corporate procurement systems such as Coupa and Ariba. It has four levels, written as one 8-digit code: segment, family, class and commodity. A code ending in 00 is a class; it is valid on its own when no commodity fits exactly.

CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) is the classification UK public buyers use on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. It is a different scheme, so the numbers do not match UNSPSC, and it is much less detailed. Several of our products have no dedicated CPV code; each page says which code public buyers use instead.
