Source from Axial Supply with an AI agent
Procurement is starting to run through AI assistants and agents. Ours is a catalogue they can read directly: all 700 lines of matting, ESD matting, spill control and retaining rings, with live prices, procurement codes and delivery, through a free MCP server and a JSON API. No key, no sign-up.
MCP server
Endpoint https://axialsupply.co.uk/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any client that supports remote MCP servers:

Without MCP
- /api/v1/catalogue.json: every line as JSON.
- /catalogue.csv: the price list for procurement systems, net and gross of VAT.
- /llms.txt: a plain-text guide to the site for language models.
- Open catalogue on GitHub: the whole catalogue as open data (CC BY 4.0), refreshed daily, with a dated changelog of every price change.
Ordering
The agent interface is read-only. An agent can find the parts and price the order to the penny; a person places it, through the basket, a purchase order to sales@axialsupply.co.uk, or Coupa. We are building ordering on account for agents, with a spending limit per account and approval for anything new or over the limit, because no finance team should let software buy without one. If your organisation wants to pilot it, tell us.
