ISO dimension series 10 · deep groove ball bearings
6000 series bearing dimensions
ISO dimension series 10 deep groove ball bearings, commonly called the extra-light series.
This table covers 11 basic designations from 6000 to 6010, with bores from 10 to 50 mm. “extra-light series” is the informal trade description; ISO identifies the range by dimension series 10.
| Designation | Bore d | Outside D | Width B |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6000 | 10 mm | 26 mm | 8 mm |
| 6001 | 12 mm | 28 mm | 8 mm |
| 6002 | 15 mm | 32 mm | 9 mm |
| 6003 | 17 mm | 35 mm | 10 mm |
| 6004 | 20 mm | 42 mm | 12 mm |
| 6005 | 25 mm | 47 mm | 12 mm |
| 6006 | 30 mm | 55 mm | 13 mm |
| 6007 | 35 mm | 62 mm | 14 mm |
| 6008 | 40 mm | 68 mm | 15 mm |
| 6009 | 45 mm | 75 mm | 16 mm |
| 6010 | 50 mm | 80 mm | 16 mm |
What dimension series 10 means
Dimension series 10 combines width series 1 with diameter series 0. Bearings can share a bore while having a different outside diameter and width. The shaft, housing bore and available axial space must therefore match all three dimensions; choosing a larger series is not a drop-in upgrade.
Load ratings and limiting speeds are not published here because they depend on the exact manufacturer and variant. Use the maker's current datasheet for engineering selection.
