What we collect and why

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number so we can take payment, dispatch the goods and deal with any query about the order. The lawful basis is performance of a contract. When you send a trade enquiry we collect the details you put in the message so we can answer it, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Your basket

Basket contents are stored in your own browser using local storage. They are not sent to us and not linked to you until you go through checkout. Clearing your browser data clears the basket.

Who processes your data

Card payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details directly under its own privacy notice; we never see or store your card number. Delivery carriers receive the name, address and contact details needed to deliver your parcel. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email sales@axialsupply.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Local storage is used only to hold your basket, and Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout to process the payment securely.
